Litigation

The Shir Law Group represents clients in civil and complex matters throughout Florida and the United States. Commercial Litigation is one of the Firm’s strongest practice areas. We are committed to providing our clients high quality and aggressive representation. Our legal team is poised to provide legal representation on all commercial matters as well as the defense of medical malpractice, professional licensure proceedings, reimbursement disputes and Medicaid audits.
We have experience in courtrooms all over the state in a broad range of commercial litigation matters representing national, as well as many local clients, including property managers, owners, landlords, contractors, design professionals, small business, and health care providers.

Community Association

One principle area of concentration for Shir Law Group is Community Association Law. The Firm provides legal counseling for Condominium, Cooperative and Homeowners Associations. The Firm also provides counseling to Master Associations and owners’ ad hoc committees.

The Shir Law Group assists its Association clients with drafting, amending and recording their Governing documents, as well as negotiating and reviewing cable, satellite and construction contracts.

Guy M. Shir is primarily responsible for providing legal counseling to the officers and directors on the day-to-day operation of the Association. Mr. Shir also manages all practice areas related to Collection/ Foreclosure, Construction Law, and any other legal needs of the Association.

The Shir Law Group represents its Condominium and Homeowner Associations, as well as individual unit owners in covenant enforcement actions before the Division of Land Sales, Condominiums, Mobile Homes, the new Homeowner division of Mediation, and Circuit Court.
